One of the best left-hand barrels in the world. This rivermouth break at the entrance to the Urdaibai estuary produces fast, hollow tubes that peel for up to 150 metres when conditions align. A WSL Championship Tour stop for years, Mundaka needs a large NW swell, offshore south wind, and low-to-mid tide to fire. When it's on, it's world-class — but it can go flat for weeks.
