Cotillo Lagoons

A series of about 10 sheltered coves north of El Cotillo village, protected by an outer reef that blocks most wave energy. The lagoons have crystal-clear turquoise water, white sand, and are barely a few feet deep — perfect for absolute beginners, families, and post-surf relaxation. When small swells wrap in, gentle waves break on the sand.
